2024-25 Tournament Schedule

Alberta Water Polo has provided the following dates for competitions and tournaments. More details can be found on Alberta Water Polo’s website.

The Calgary Wild is a community-based water polo club. This is a team sport and Calgary Wild engages in competitions throughout the province.

As such, we expect athletes playing on teams competing in Provincial League and other competitions (12U, 14U, and 18U) to attend all scheduled tournaments and support their teammates. Coaches work to build rosters to ensure the athletes have fun and improve. Practices drills are developed to ensure the teams and athletes understand their roles and positions during a game. It is the Club’s expectation that athletes commit to attending both practice and competitions and update the RAMP Team App with their availability.

Failure to attend competitions will result in a conversation with the coaches and executive. Should this behaviour continue, the athlete may lose practice privileges or be expelled from the team. No registration fee refund will be given.

Pups Fests (10U) are excluded from this requirement, however all athletes must RSVP in RAMP prior to these events.

Alberta Water Polo’s season calendar is available here.

Sunday Night YYC City League’s schedule will be posted when available. This typically starts in October/November and alternates weeks between 12U/18U and 14U.
